Cave Springs Summer Camps
Registration for summer 2024 sessions opens on January, 15 at 9am.
Camp at Cave Springs is nature focused and active. Campers spend the majority of their day outdoors. Campers will experience nature programming in the forest of beautiful Niagara Escarpment, hike along the Bruce Trail, participate in active games and sports, and learn nature skills such as shelter building and forest biology.
Camp is fun for children of all ages!
We offer camp programs for campers between the ages of 5 and 15. Campers are placed in groups based on age so activities can be catered to their levels and strength, and so that campers can socialize with peers. We offer age-specific programming and leadership opportunities for older campers (beginning at age 14).
A place to grow!
At Cave Springs, campers have the opportunity to explore new places and try new activities in a safe and supportive environment. While gaining new skills, campers grow in independence and self-confidence. And in our natural settings, campers gain a greater appreciation for the beauty and wonder of God’s world in our vibrant community atmosphere that is free from the distractions of screens. Through it all, campers can grow in character, positive values and pro-social skills.
As a Christian camp that belongs to the United Church of Canada, we invite all campers to reflect on their connection to a God who loves them and wants the best for them. We reflect on the teachings of Jesus who embodies God’s love and encourage all campers to grow and thrive in the way the most natural for them. We welcome campers from all backgrounds and are careful to express our Christian values in a way that is sensitive to the full diversity of our campers and staff.
We love camp not just because it’s super fun and awesome, but also because it shapes and changes lives. That is what has been happening at Cave Springs since 1951 and we hope you can join us for this year’s adventures.
