Overview

Day camp programs are the perfect introduction to camp for younger campers who are excited to try new things! Each week offers a theme to keep day camp fresh and fun for new and returning campers alike.

Day Camp is Monday to Friday. Daily drop-off is between 8:30am and 9:00am each day and pick-up is between 4:00pm and 4:30pm daily. Each day you or one of your authorized guardians will sign in and out with our Day Camp staff. For your child’s safety, we will only release a child to an authorized guardian. Day campers are placed in small activity groups with other children of the same age. They participate in all of sorts of fun and exciting outdoor activities.

A special event each week is our Canoe Trip at Jordan Harbour. This is a chance for campers to learn canoeing skills and have fun on the water, under the supervision of our staff and lifeguards.

Day camp is an ideal choice for first-time campers and can serve as a stepping stone to Bridge or Overnight camp. Campers bring their own nut-free bag lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided by Cave Springs.

Eligibility

Campers must be between 5-10 years old at the time of their desired session. Requests for exceptions can be made for campers who turn 11. Please note that space for 5 year olds is limited. Campers who are 11 and 12 years old and who have loved their day camp experiences in the past are encouraged to check out our Bridge Camp programs.

Christian Education

Campers are introduced to faith in a new and exciting fashion. We recognize that children come from a variety of backgrounds and we strive to provide them with a safe environment to learn about faith. Children participate in daily sessions where they sing worship music, led by a worship band. They also watch an age-appropriate drama that runs the span of the week. After session, children take part in small group discussions and activities where they are encouraged to ask questions and recap what took place during the daily drama. Each day ends with vespers. During this time, campers are led in more worship and participate in skits about faith.
