Camp staff are chosen from a wide range of applicants and go through an intense screening and training process. Staff display a Christian commitment, caring attitude and enthusiasm for children.

We are currently accepting applications for Overnight Counsellors and Kitchen Staff. Please take the time to read through the detailed postion descriptions below. Interested applicants must complete an application package at Cave Springs Camp Staff Applications.
Select candidates will be selected to participate in interviews.
Group leaders will be responsible for the care and supervision of camper groups throughout the day. Group leaders will accompany their groups to all activities and will have numerous opportunities to plan and facilitate programming for their campers.
Group leaders will work in assigned teams each week and placed in charge of group of approximately 8-12 campers. Group leaders will also have opportunities to work as 1:1 integration support leaders for campers and volunteers with exceptionalities.
Group leaders must excel at forming meaningful connections with children and youth ages 5-15. Group leaders are responsible for building team dynamic and community bonds within their camper groups and within the wider camp community.
Overnight counselors will be supervised by the Directing Team and will be directing accountable to the Head of Mainsite and Assistant Head of Mainsite.
Overnight Counselors must live on site at camp for the duration of each camp session.

Kitchen staff will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals for all camp participants each day. Camp meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the day.
The camp kitchen is a fully equipped industrial cooking environment. Kitchen staff must be willing to work in a fast paced environment. Kitchen staff positions are perfect for young adults looking to build their skill set as chefs in a fun, welcoming, and creative environment. Kitchen staff are an integral part of our camp staff and attend all staff training events.
Kitchen staff will also have the opportunity to participate as program staff (planning and leading camp activities) throughout the day.
-Be available for the term of employment as specified in the contract.
-Be willing to live residentially at the camp
-Attend camp training sessions as specified in the contract.
-Enjoy working in a child/youth focused environment
-Be open and inviting to all that are at Cave Springs Camp regardless of race, gender, age and background.
-Submit a Police Criminal Record Check and completed medical form on or before June 1st of the year of employment.
-Ontario Food Handlers certificate an asset.
Cave Springs Camp depends on the generosity of our volunteers each summer and they are an integral part of our community. Volunteering at camp is a great way to meet new people and gain valuable experiences while having a fantastic time at camp.
We have a number of volunteer opportunities available including overnight counsellor, day camp counsellor, or helping out in the kitchen.
